Separate choices
- Statistics: one cookie preference for the main website and I Custodi, revocable through Cookie preferences.
- Contact: in the “Stay in touch” form you choose how you prefer to be contacted (email, WhatsApp or phone) and give permission to use your details for the selected place. The box is not preselected; email needs verification, a mobile number remains to be confirmed by the human custodians.
- Contributions: useful memories, ideas, corrections and offers to help are set aside automatically for the human custodians; the chat shows what, and you can withdraw it within 24 hours. Publication requires human review and separate permission; your contact details remain private.
- Device memory: on by default after the “Before you come in” notice, so you do not lose the chat when you reload. You can turn it off and delete it and keep chatting.
Who is involved
These roles concern I Custodi. APS means a social promotion association; SRL means a limited liability company. They are distinct organisations.

Technical access and contact recipients
The contact details you leave are for association follow-up about the selected place. Permission for the association to contact you authorises neither company marketing nor automatic transfer to a council. A transfer requires prior information about the recipient and specific, verifiable permission.
Company technical support and restricted backroom access do not make your data public and are not commercial consent. The same person may work in the company and contribute to the association project: access must respect the assigned task and does not permit reuse for another activity.
Withdraw consent or request a change
For contacts and content, email hello@rural-pop-up.events. You can use the links below or an ordinary email; you do not need to explain why you are withdrawing consent. Identify the place and relevant items if you know them.
For local memory, act immediately through “+ → Chat on this device”. Use the same email address to request access, correction or deletion, or to object to processing.
How choices are documented
New contact and publication requests record the purpose, displayed text and its version, language, server timestamp, and reference to the contact or contributions involved. Email verification is recorded separately. Statistics and local memory choices stay in the browser with the device timestamp, wording and version. Simply visiting a page is not consent.
Withdrawal applies to future use. Data needed for legal obligations or evidence that your request was handled may remain, separate from withdrawn uses. We do not retroactively assign this consent version to earlier records.
